How to use it in 30 minutes
- Pick 3–4 content pillars. Themes your customers care about, such as tips, behind the scenes, proof and offers.
- Mark the fixed dates. Launches, holidays, events and paydays go on the calendar first.
- Set a rhythm you can keep. Three to five posts a week on one or two platforms beats daily posting you can't sustain.
- Fill the gaps by pillar. Rotate pillars so no week is all promotion.
- Batch and schedule. Create a week's posts in one sitting and schedule them, then spend 10 minutes a day replying to comments.

Content calendar questions
What is a social media content calendar?
A content calendar is a plan that shows what you will post, on which platform and on what date, along with the goal of each post. It keeps posting consistent and makes approvals faster.
How far ahead should I plan social media content?
Most small teams plan one month ahead and leave room each week for timely posts. Plan the big moments (launches, holidays, events) a quarter ahead.
How many posts per week should a small business publish?
Consistency matters more than volume. Three to five good posts a week on one or two platforms is a realistic, sustainable starting point for most small businesses.
